The training course aimed to empower youth workers, journalists and their youth organizations to gain better access to the media, more publicity, and work more effectively and rationally. Through non-formal learning methods, participants had to prepare a strategic approach in PR and media relations and in that way they allowed youth organizations to increase publicity of projects implemented through the Youth in Action programme. The training provided also youth workers and their partner organizations with a highly impact opportunity to learn and practice tools of Public Relations so they could more successfully promote the strong “European dimension” of their YIA projects as well as the values of European society and the role of youth in the construction of the current and future Europe.
