The official start of the project “EuroAsia Volunteering Assistance Programme” was the Kick off meeting held in the period between 27 February – 02 March 2018, in Paris, France. All partner representatives gathered at the meeting to discuss and agree on all activates within EuroAsia project.
Mladiinfo Slovakia, together with its partners from France, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand, started the project that will make a connection between the existing EU programs for volunteering and build an online platform with all necessary information regarding the volunteering in developing countries. Included in this project are some non-formal education training for capacity building of the youth organizations staff with necessary skills and capacities, as well as a list of crucial requirements that need to be met for hosting and sending volunteers in Asia.

The Kick-off meeting was a good start for the project and participants had a chance to overview the task division, desired outcomes of the project and defined the methodology for the upcoming mapping. Furthermore, during the meeting, partners discussed the online tools for communication that are going to be used during the implementation of the project.
