The project engaged 14 young journalists and journalism students from 7 South-East European countries in intercultural ‘on-line’ communication and investigative work with the main aim of raising the cultural self-awareness of young people. The participants acted as promoters of respective cultural diversity issues to the youth. The emphasis was put on understanding, learning and matching cultural diversities among different nations/cultures, as well as within one nation/culture. Moreover, the participants promoted the patterns for prevention and reduction of conflicts that have risen due to ignorance, lack of understanding of cultural domains, namely cultural diversities. The project resulted in creation and distribution of two educational and information e-newsletters. These contained the works on pre-assigned topics, where participants should choose those which were the most interesting for them particularly.
