You(th) Challenging Diversity: Representation of Minorities in the New Media

The project You(th) Challenging Diversity: Representation of Minorities in the New Media has been developed as a space for young people to discuss and analyze the ways of objective reporting on different minorities in new media as well as how to build good multicultural practices in the media by presenting examples of cooperation and living together.

The innovative research on how minorities are portrayed in the new media was conducted in Bulgaria, F.Y.R. of Macedonia, Croatia, and Greece. In a period of two months, a team of young researchers was carefully monitoring four exclusively online media per country and afterward, the research experts analyzed the outcomes. It gives a comparative insight of professional standards in the
new media practices.
